CLASS 2 DRIVERS REQUIRED
The Best Connection are looking for LGV C (Class 2) drivers for their client based in the Blenheim Park area of Nottingham for cover.
Start times will be 0600hrs and your duties will be to deliver the timber products (no more than 8 drops) to their customers (often builders merchants).
All deliveries will be unloaded by forklift so there is no handball involved however drivers must be proficient in strapping down the load to prevent the load moving whilst driving. All vehicles are curtain-sided
- Pay Rate will be £16.00 per hour (PAYE only)
Responsibilities of a Class 2 Driver:
- You will be responsible for the delivery of timber
- Driving a company vehicle
- Start times are between 06:00am
- Complete consignment notes
- Vehicle walk arounds and checks
- Strapping down loads
Qualifications and job duties as Class 2 Driver:
- At least 2 years of Class 2 experience
- Driving licence with no more than 6 points, strictly no IN10 or DR endorsement
- Loading and unloading the delivery vehicle
- The ability to work on your own
- Moderate heavy lifting
- Immediate starts available
