Production Line Operative

Location: Gatwick / Crawley Area

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 15:30 (occasional Saturdays)

Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing

Start Date: Immediate

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Production Line Operative on behalf of our well-established and highly respected client based in Crawley Area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced production environment within logistics distribution and supply chain industry, with full training provided and opportunities for long-term employment and progression.

Key Responsibilities as Production Line Operative

• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Identify and remove damaged or faulty items from the production line
• Pack, label, and prepare products for dispatch
• Move stock, cages, and materials throughout the warehouse
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations
• Support production and warehouse operations to achieve daily targets

Candidate Requirements

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Previous warehouse or production experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport due to the location of the site
• Valid passport for identification and compliance purposes
• Ability to successfully complete a 5-year background check and DBS check
