Job Opportunity: Cleaning Site Manager – Coventry (CV5 Area)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Cleaning Site Manager in Coventry (CV5 area). This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive hourly rate between £18 and £20 per hour, depending on the level of experience.
Job Details:
Location: Coventry (CV5 Area)
Salary: £18-£20 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (08:00 - 16:00)
Contract Type: 6-month fixed-term contract (potential to extend)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Provide operational support to the site, ensuring that services are delivered to the highest standard
Conduct regular site audits, both weekly and monthly, to maintain quality
Manage and develop relationships with key customers and service teams
Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure the team performs efficiently and meets business objectives
Implement change management as required by the client, ensuring continuous improvement
Lead lean operations across the site and negotiate improvements with customers, staff, and suppliers
Maintain compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies
Conduct regular site walks with customers, addressing any concerns and identifying areas for enhancement
Drive team engagement and manage performance, including appraisals, training, and development plans
Candidate Requirements:
Prior experience in a cleaning management role (preferred but not essential as training will be provided)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to adapt to early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekend work to support a 24/7 operation
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse and improve site performance
Proficiency in IT and confident in generating and presenting contractual reports
Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with the ability to ensure site compliance
A proactive, determined approach to achieving team targets and continuous business improvement
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
