Job Title: CNC Turner
Location: West Midlands CV3(Easily commutable from Nuneaton, Rugby, Leamington, and Hinckley)
Salary: £37,000 – £39,000 + Overtime
Shift: Days only – Monday to Thursday 7:30am–4:45pm, Friday 7:30am–12:30pm
Overtime available

About the Opportunity:

We’re supporting a well-established precision engineering company with a reputation for quality, technical excellence, and long-term stability. They’re investing in their manufacturing engineering team and looking for a CNC Turner / Production Engineer to take ownership of new components and support continuous improvements on the shop floor.

The Role:

Create, optimise, and prove CNC turning programs for complex components

Support the introduction of new parts, from pre-production through to final approval

Work closely with machinists, production, and tooling teams to resolve issues

Recommend tooling, fixturing, and methods to improve efficiency and quality

Assist with planning and process improvements across low and high-volume work

Provide technical support to operators on the shop floor

Ideal Candidate:

Time-served CNC Turner with programming and setting experience

Skilled in live-tooling lathes and multi-axis turning centres

Familiar with programming at the machine and/or using CAM software (Mastercam, NX, etc.)

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances

Confident working across a range of materials and component sizes

Experience supporting NPI, CI, or process development is desirable
