About the Employer

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established manufacturer within the cat litter industry. This site operates in a very dusty warehouse environment, requiring candidates who are comfortable working in busy, industrial conditions with regular manual duties.

Available Positions

1. Weekday Rotation (2 Positions Available)

Monday to Thursday ONLY - Never work a Friday!

• Week 1: 6am - 6pm
• Week 2: 6pm - 6am
• Pay: £12.21 per hour (increasing next month)

2. Weekend Nights Only

Friday, Saturday & Sunday

• 12-hour Night Shifts only
• Pay: £13.77 per hour (increasing next month)

Role Overview

This role requires more than standard Counterbalance driving. While FLT operation is a key part of the job, you will also be expected to work within the factory environment performing manual tasks, including lifting up to 25kg where required.

You will be supporting both production and warehouse operations involving movement of raw materials, bagged products, and general site logistics.

This role is ideal for someone physically capable, reliable, and flexible, who enjoys a mix of forklift and factory work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Move raw materials, finished products, and palletised goods
• Work within the factory processing environment as needed
• Perform manual handling duties (up to 25kg) when required
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in a dusty workplace
• Support the production team with additional tasks
• Follow onsite safety rules and procedures

Requirements

• Valid, in‑date Counterbalance Licence
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
• Comfortable working in a very dusty, industrial environment
• Reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to support the team
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is desirable
