Job: Van Driver

Location: Guildford

Pay: £13.00ph

The successful candidates will possess a current and valid driver’s license.

Our clients are looking for ADHOC & Cover Van Drivers to their teams to cover seasonal peaks and sickness in the Guildford area.  We are recruiting for multiple ADHOC Van Drivers to cover these roles.  

Hours Of Work:

Monday to Saturday: 05:00-1700 but finish times may vary. 

Rate of Pay:

£13.00PH PAYE

Responsibilities of the Van Drivers:

• Operate a 3.5 tonne vehicle to various locations around the UK.
• To ensure 100% of deliveries are completed on time
• Assist in the business operations – some roles will involve warehouse duties
• Lumping & Bumping – Some Roles will involve heavy lifting. 
• Load & Unload Vehicles when required
• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of a Van Driver:

• Category B Licence.
• Maximum 6 Points on your licence
• No DD/DR Endorsements

Due to the location and start times own transport is required.
