We are currently recruiting for HGV1 Drivers for many of our clients based in Ashford, Charing, Hythe , Canterbury and Dover.
The work we have available is deliveries of various different goods such as pallets, meat seasonings, household items, Beer kegs and crates, . Both full time and part time work available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections using the company’s systems
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers to provide excellent service
Pay Rates - £15 - £17ph
Requirements:
- Valid HGV2 (Cat C) driving license.
- Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in driving HGV2 vehicles
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to handle physical work, some clients may require handballing - using a pallet truck
