Refrigeration Engineer - £38k per year

The best connection is hiring for a refrigeration engineer for our client based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful dynamic company. The company is expanding their portfolio by offering refrigeration system refurbishment.

This position is temporary but could go permanent after a successful trial period. Easily accessible by public transport and on-site parking available.

Role Responsibilities:

• Inspection of returned systems for refurbishment
• Fault finding including electrical testing where required
• Thorough cleaning of components
• Replacement of component parts when required
• Refrigerant recovery and charging when needed
• Detailed logging and reporting of checks and works carried out
• Assisting in producing of written works instructions
• Testing and commissioning

Candidate Profile:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 Refrigeration & Airconditioning
• FGAS Qualified C&G 2079-11
• Experience of working with flammable refrigerants desirable
• Previous experience of all aspects of refrigeration servicing essential
• Have a thorough knowledge of the application, operation and fault finding of all aspects of refrigeration systems and components
• Be able to quickly and concisely assimilate details of products and applications
• Used to working on your own or as part of a team

Pay and hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 7.45am – 4.30pm
• Friday Early finish: 7.45am – 2.00pm
• £38, 000 per annum
