Cleaning Supervisor - Early Morning Shift

Location: Norwich

Pay Rate: £15.47 per hour

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 5:00am - 8:30am

Contract: Temporary until August, with potential for ongoing work for the right candidate

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and hands-on individual to lead a small cleaning team during an early morning shift in Norwich city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with supervisory experience looking for part-time hours with potential for longer-term work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and supporting the cleaning team on shift
• Ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard
• Carrying out routine checks and resolving issues quickly
• Allocating daily duties and monitoring staff performance and attendance
• Reporting any maintenance, stock, or health & safety issues
• Providing clear handovers to the day team
• Ensuring safe use and storage of cleaning equipment
• Maintaining compliance with company policies, COSHH, and health & safety regulations
• Assisting with training and guidance of team members
• Completing basic records, reports, and checklists

What We're Looking For:

• Previous cleaning supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach
• Knowledge of cleaning standards and health & safety procedures
