School Cleaners Required - Near Penrith

Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting for two reliable and hardworking School Cleaners to join our team at schools located on the outskirts of Penrith.

An Enhanced DBS Check is essential for both positions. Applicants must already hold, or be willing to obtain, a full Enhanced DBS check.

Position 1

• Hours: 12.5 hours per week
• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
• Shift Time: 3:30pm - 6:00pm

Position 2

• Hours: 11 hours per week
• Working Pattern:
  • Monday to Thursday: 5:00pm - 7:15pm
  • Friday: 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Duties Include:

• Emptying bins
• Vacuuming and hoovering floors
• Mopping hard floor areas
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS Check (essential)
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures
