Labourers / Harvest Production Operatives Required
Are you available throughout the month of October for a full time seasonal contract?
The Best Connection are recruiting our prestigious client, for a team of staff for their annual harvest, at their sites in Petworth or West Chiltington (West Sussex).
ALL TRAINING IS PROVIDED!
Responsibilities:
- Picking crates from the crate washer and stacking them in their designated area, ready for re-use
- Assisting operators with weighing of fruit pallets
- Work on press-loading production line to remove leaves and other material from picking crates
- Washing pallets using a hose or pallet washer
- Hose down and clean of grape receival area
- Loading/Unloading lorries of fresh produce ready for production (Forklift role only)
Requirements:
- Proactive attitude
- Being able to work as a team indoors & outside, in all conditions!
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit, as the role will require you to be on your feet all day
- MOST IMPORTANTLY.......WANTING TO EARN MONEY!
- Your own transport or reliable commute to place of work
- A Full Counterbalance Forklift License (*For Forklift roles only*)
Hours & Pay:
Various shifts available with different pay-rates, across a 7 day working week
- Day shift - 9am to 730pm, 11am to 930pm (Production and Forklift Roles)
- Night shift - 730pm to 5am (Production and Forklift Roles)
