The Best Connection Donates IT Equipment to New Oscott Primary School

As part of our commitment to supporting local communities and improving access to digital learning, The Best Connection has proudly donated IT device charging trolleys to New Oscott Primary School in Sutton Coldfield. 

The school recently moved into a new, modern building with vastly improved WiFi and digital infrastructure, allowing teachers to deliver a more ambitious and forward-thinking computing curriculum. However, like many schools, much of their budget is focused on purchasing the devices themselves. By donating two fully functioning charging trolleys, we were able to support the school’s growing technology provision in a and meaningful practical way. 

A Message of Thanks from the Head Teacher 

Head Teacher, Alison Walklett, shared her appreciation for the donation; 

“I want to thank you sincerely for the generous donation of two IT device charging trolleys. This will make a significant difference to our IT curriculum, allowing us to charge pupil devices more efficiently and redirect valuable funds toward purchasing additional equipment. 

Your donation supports our goal of providing a more connected learning experience, helping pupils develop digital skills through computing, creative media and cross-curricular activities. 

We are extremely grateful to The Best Connection for this support, which has had an immediate and meaningful impact.” 

We are delighted to hear the immediate and long-term impact this donation will have on the school’s digital learning provision – helping pupils develop vital IT skills, engage in creative media, and experience a more connected curriculum. 

Promoting Sustainability Through Repurposed Equipment 

Our IT & Telecoms Manager, David Morton, also reflected on the initiative: 

“We’re always looking for ways to repurpose high-quality equipment responsibly, and donating these charging trolleys was a perfect opportunity to support a local school while promoting sustainability. Knowing that this equipment will help enhance digital learning for pupils is incredibly rewarding for our team.”
