The Best Connection Celebrates 30th Anniversary

The Best Connection employment business is celebrating its 30^th anniversary. The Midlands headquartered company which supplies temporary labour to industrial, HGV, retail and warehouse & distribution sectors, continues to be run by its founding directors, Andrew Sweeney and Neil Yorke. The business began with the opening of The Best Connection's first office in Tyseley, Birmingham in 1991. Today, the company remains privately owned and has grown to become a well-respected and leading brand in its sectors. As well as experiencing organic growth, under the umbrella of the SWS Group, the company has acquired complementary businesses including CPA, Fleetmaster, CTS, Backline, Bailey Care Services and Bailey Employment Services and has opened operations in North America. In the UK The Best Connection employs over 670 staff located across its network of 86 customer facing branches and its head office in Bromsgrove from where the company supports over 10,000 clients from SME's to global logistics operations. 'I am delighted to be able celebrate this occasion with all our employees. We set out to provide a temporary employment business not knowing exactly where this might take us. Thirty years on I am extremely grateful to all my loyal colleagues who have made the company what it is today. 'When the reality of the pandemic hit in March 2020 the future was uncertain. The contraction of business and downturn in demand for our services was a major concern. A year on and we can now see a gradual improvement in market activity. I am immensely proud of the way our people have adapted to the challenges during this crisis and the triumphs we have shared over this most difficult period in our 30-year history,' said Neil Yorke, Director.
