At this stage, the focus is on learning the fundamentals of recruitment while gaining hands-on experience in a busy branch environment. 

Typical responsibilities may include: 

  • Sourcing and screening candidates 
  • Writing and posting job adverts 
  • Speaking with candidates about their skills and experience 
  • Supporting businesses in filling vacancies 
  • Learning recruitment systems and compliance processes 

This is a learning-focused role where confidence and core skills are developed.

With experience, recruiters move into a Recruitment Consultant role, taking on greater responsibility for managing the full recruitment process. 

Typical responsibilities include: 

  • Managing job vacancies from client briefing through to placement

  • Building relationships with businesses and hiring managers
