The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit cushion fillers to join our client in the Doncaster area. This hands-on role involves filling cushions and upholstered items to a high standard, ensuring comfort, consistency, and quality across all products.
Working hours:
*Rotating shifts* 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday 05:30 – 14:00 (Morning shift)
Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 00:15 (Afternoon shift)
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand fill a variety of sized cushions
- Accurately fill cushions using foam, fibre, or other stuffing materials
- Measure and weigh fillings to ensure consistent density
- Inspect covers and fillings for defects and ensure final products meet quality standards
- Seal or close cushion covers using zippers, stitching, or other methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, manual environment
- Previous experience in upholstery or cushion filling is a plus but not essential - training provided
