Location: Crawley (Manor Royal)
Shifts: 4 on, 2 off | Two earlies (06:00–14:30) & two lates (13:30–22:00)
Contract: Full-Time | Avg. 40 hours/week
Pay: £16.37 per hour

Aviation Connection is excited to partner with Newrest, a global leader in inflight catering, to recruit experienced Chef de Parties to join their dynamic culinary team at Gatwick.
About the Role:
In this role, you will deliver high-quality culinary services to some of our most valued airline clients, ensuring all dishes meet the exacting standards and specifications set by Newrest. You will demonstrate confidence in learning and preparing a variety of dishes, consistently maintaining a guest-focused approach and seeking opportunities to enhance the overall dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support daily production in line with airline specifications
- Maintain quality and consistency across all dishes and service points
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff
- Manage food stock rotation, ordering, and kitchen organisation
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Collaborate on menu development and presentation
- Ensure compliance with aviation security and Newrest standards
- “Clean as you go” practices and COSHH/HACCP adherence
- Maintain a professional approach when interacting with colleagues and clients
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong culinary background (experience in high-volume kitchens ideal)
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Flexibility across early and late shifts
- Passion for food quality and hygiene
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

- Willing to complete a Criminal Record Check (DBS) – paid for by us
- Able to provide a 5-year checkable history – we’ll support you with this
- Have a valid Photo ID (e.g., Passport or Driving Licence)
- Attend a paid Aviation Security Course (GSAT)
