The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading supplier of large-scale staging, temporary structures, and event infrastructure for major events across the UK.

The Role

As a warehouse / yard Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring equipment is accurately prepared, checked, and dispatched for upcoming events across the country.

Working within a busy yard environment, you'll be responsible for handling event infrastructure components, supporting vehicle loading operations, and ensuring stock is organised and ready for deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing equipment from digital order systems
• Preparing materials for dispatch to event sites nationwide
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Returning and restocking equipment following events
• Operating a counterbalance forklift
• Maintaining high standards of organisation, accuracy, and housekeeping
• Assisting with equipment preparation, maintenance, and branding where required

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

08:30 - 17:30

Breaks:

• 15 minutes at 10:00
• 45 minutes at 12:00
• 15 minutes at 15:00

Requirements

• Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience
• IT literate and comfortable using digital systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads independently
• Reliable and hardworking approach

Desirable Skills

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous van driving experience
• Practical or hands-on maintenance experience
• Experience within logistics, warehouse, construction, events, or production environments
