Job Advert: Warehouse Operative / Yard Operative - Temp to Perm Role

Rate: £13.50 per hour - weekly pay

Hours : Monday to Friday 1500-1900 or 0500 am -0900 am ( either shift available )

Are you hardworking, reliable, and ready for a physically demanding role? We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Yard Operative for our client, offering a part time temporary role with the potential to become permanent.

Role Overview:

As a Warehouse Operative / Yard Operative, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse and yard. This is a hands-on role involving loading, unloading, and general yard duties in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative / Yard Operative:

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Working in the yard and warehouse environment
• Moving stock and materials around site
• Carrying out general warehouse and yard duties
• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider team with daily operational tasks
• Undertaking heavy lifting and physical work throughout the shift

Requirements of a Warehouse Operative / Yard Operative:

• Previous warehouse or yard experience preferred but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with hard graft and manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Own transport beneficial due to location of site
