Yard Operative (Counterbalance Forklift Licence Required)

Hours: 6:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (flexibility available)

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract: Full-time, ongoing with potential for a permanent contract

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and safety-focused Yard Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join our client's busy yard team. This is a full-time role offering long-term stability, flexibility with working hours, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful period.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating the counterbalance forklift
• Following correct site routes and health & safety procedures
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Completing additional duties as required
• Supporting the team to ensure smooth yard operations

What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Previous yard or forklift experience preferred
• Safety-conscious and reliable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good work ethic and strong attention to detail
