The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist on behalf of our well-established client based in Wednesbury.

This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.

Pay Rate:

£12.71 per hour

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30

Friday: 07:00 - 14:30

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a range of woodworking saws including circular saws, band saws, hand saws, and table saws
• Cutting and shaping wooden components according to instructions and measurements
• Ensuring accuracy and quality of finished pieces
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience operating woodworking saws is essential
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements
• Understanding of health and safety procedures when operating machinery
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
