The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Welder/ Fabricator for our Wolverhampton based client.

Pay rate is £15.00 per hour

Working hours are 07:15 till 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:15-13:15 on Friday

This is long term, temp to perm position.

As a Welder/Fabricator your duties will include:

· Fabricate and MIG weld mild steel and stainless steel products.

· Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.

· Mark out, cut, prepare, assemble and weld components.

· Manufacture bespoke fabrications for a range of industrial applications.

· Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards.

· Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.

· Maintain a clean and organised working area.

· Follow all company health and safety procedures

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder.

· Strong MIG welding experience.

· Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

· Experience fabricating mild steel and stainless steel.

· Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.

· Welding mask and basic fabrication hand tools required.

· Reliable, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be confident working with materials ranging from 1mm to 20mm+ thickness and be capable of producing high-quality work to customer specifications.
