ENGINEERING SECTION - SOUTH PARK INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, SCUNTHORPE

PAY RATE: £17.50 - £19.50 PER HOUR

Dependent on experience

TEMP TO PERM AFTER 12 WEEKS

WORKING HOURS

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:45pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm (early finish)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are recruiting an experienced Welder to join our Engineering Section. You will carry out fabrication, repairs, and welding tasks that support essential engineering operations on site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• MIG / TIG / ARC welding
• Fabrication and repairs from engineering drawings
• Planned and reactive maintenance welding
• Weld inspection and quality checks
• Working safely and effectively within the engineering team

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven welding experience (engineering/manufacturing)
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Welding qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.)
• Reliable, proactive approach to work

DESIRABLE

• Fabrication machinery experience
• Maintenance engineering knowledge
• Additional welding codes/certifications
