🔧 Welder / Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker - Bury 🔧

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client in Bury for an experienced Welder / Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business that designs and produces high-quality engineered systems supplied to process industries across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Fabricate precision sheet metal components using TIG/MIG welding, folding, cutting, and assembly techniques

✅ Interpret engineering drawings to manufacture products to specification

✅ Maintain high-quality standards and attention to detail

✅ Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency and workflow

✅ Carry out equipment servicing and maintenance when required

✅ Produce bespoke and repeat-build fabrications to a high standard

Requirements:

✔️ Time-served Welder / Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker with proven industry experience

✔️ Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

✔️ Strong knowledge of TIG/MIG welding, stainless steel fabrication, press brake operation, and general metalworking techniques

✔️ Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings

✔️ Capable of meeting production targets and strict deadlines

Working Hours:

🕒 37 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00
• Friday: 07:30 - 12:30

Pay Rates:

💷 Standard Rate: £16.29 per hour

💷 Overtime (Mon-Sat): £24.44 per hour

💷 Overtime (Sunday): £32.58 per hour
