The Best Connection are recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator for our esteemed client in Hednesford.

Responsibilities:

• Duties include accurately weighing vehicles, precise data entry using dedicated weighbridge software, and producing detailed notes of each incoming and ongoing loads.
• Accuracy is critical, as errors may result in statutory non-compliance.
• The role also involves managing vehicle movements, communicating with drivers and site staff, and complying with all site health and safety procedures.

Essential Skills:

• Applicant should demonstrate strong IT confidence, with proven experience of accurate data entry, and a high level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• The role requires the ability to follow written procedures and legislative requirements without supervision. Full training in the dedicated weighbridge software will be provided.
• Candidates should also have an awareness of health & safety.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with team daily

Desirable Skills:

• Previous weighbridge operation experience; experience within waste management, recycling, logistics, or industrial operations; familiarity with Waste Transfer Notes or regulated environmental documentation.

Pay - £12.21 to £13.50 Per Hour (D.O.E)

Shift - 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Location - Cannock

Role - Temp to Perm
