Weighbridge Operative urgently required to work at landfill site in Bishop’s Cleeve. Training will be conducted at the client’s site in Hempsted. Due to the location of the site, you must have your own transport. This role may become permanent following a successful trial period.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the weighbridge, managing the movements of vehicles entering and exiting the site.
• Weighing vehicles on entry and exit of site
• Entering vehicle details and ticketing loads through the in-house operating system
• Liaising with drivers and ensuring their vehicles are within legal weight limits.
• Briefing all visitors on site safety instructions
• The role requires you to enter accurate information into the company’s systems, so you must be IT literate, methodical and organised.
• Training will be provided by the client

Working Hours & Rate of Pay:

• Monday to Friday       07:00 – 16:30
• £12.63 per hour (depending on experience)
