Waste Operative (Skip Sorting)

Location: Cliffe Nr Selby

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Waste Operative to join our team. The role involves sorting the contents of skips, separating recyclable materials, and ensuring waste is processed correctly and safely.

• Full-time, ongoing work
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.21
• Monday to Friday
• 8am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting and separating waste materials from skips
• Identifying recyclable items and placing them in the correct areas
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with general yard duties as required

Requirements

• Good level of physical fitness
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own transport due to location
