The Best Connection are looking for a WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER/SUPERVISOR for our client in Leyland, Lancashire.
Job Description:
- Working unsupervised and professionally to build good relationship both internally and externally
- Supporting and complimenting management and finance teams
- Multi-task and prioritise workload in-line with business requirements
- Resolve any issues with great communication
- Leave customers feeling satisfied, by maintaining high standards and safety
- Enhance the team's productivity
- Dealing with stock, orders, deliveries, orders & dispatches
- Ensure smooth running of the day-to day warehouse tasks
- Accuracy of orders and deadlines
- Monitor productivity and raising any performance issues to management
- Authorising staff holidays and flagging any staff shortages at the earliest convenience to achieve company objectives
Shifts:
- Monday to Thursday, 08:30AM-04:30PM
- Friday, 08:00AM-04:00PM
- 37.5 hours weekly
- 30 minute unpaid break
Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Open and close the building (keyholder)
- Set the daily work plan and monitor and provide daily output numbers
- Ensure efficient use of the packing team
- Ensure output is in line with the company packing standards
- Authorise leave and record absence with Business Support Officer
- Regular 1-2-1 interactions with team members to support a positive culture
- Provide training and guidance to meet requirements
- Ensure policies are adhered to
- Report anything regarding staff performance/situations that need addressing
- Keeping workspace tidied, cleaned and maintaned
