Warehouse Supervisor – Permanent Opportunity
Location: Rochdale

The Best Connection Group - Oldham are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our esteemed client in Rochdale on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to manage and optimize warehouse operations.

Pay rate:

•  £13.46 - £14.42 per hour (based on experience)

Working Hours:

• 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations in accordance with company policies and objectives.
• Ensure strategic management of the warehouse to align with company vision.
• Develop, implement, and maintain efficient operational policies and procedures.
• Oversee warehouse security and safety protocols.
• Organize warehouse layout and optimize space utilization.
• Collaborate with management to enforce Health & Safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Motivate, discipline, and manage warehouse staff effectively.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate reconciliation with data storage systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and accurate records of all warehouse activities.
• Recruit agency staff as required to meet operational demands.
• Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of warehouse vehicles.
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and transport companies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and optimize operational performance.
• Strong understanding of warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Proficient with warehouse management software and databases.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.
