The Best Connection Sheffield are excited to be recruiting positions for FULL TIME WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES, to start work for our well established client, ALLIANCE AUTOMOTIVE: FPS NDC ROTHERHAM, a leading provider in automotive component distribution. We are looking for hard working and dedicated WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES to join their team to maintain a smooth and efficient operation. Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: S66, Rotherham
Contract Type: Temporary, with permanent opportunities for good performance after 12 weeks
Hours: 06:00-14:30, 09:00-17:30, 11:30-20:00, 13:30-22:00, 14:30-23:00
INTERVIEWS HELD DAILY FOR POSITIONS!
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and checking stock deliveries.
- Storing goods in the appropriate locations.
- Picking and packing orders for dispatch.
- Preparing items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) where necessary.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assisting with inventory checks and stocktaking.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently and handle manual tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of a team and under minimal supervision.
- Forklift license or willingness to train (if applicable).
- Good communication skills.
