The Best Connection Reading are currently looking for a full-time permanent Warehouse Operative to come and join us at our site in Reading on behalf of our customer, GXO You will be working Monday – Friday either 07:00 -16:00 or 06:00 – 15:00 which will be your permanent hours.
Please be advised that you will be required to rotate within departments - one week supporting the warehouse and another week supporting drivers' operations.
Pay:
An hourly rate of £12.21
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Working as part of a small team maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our field store
- Picking, packing, and serving virgin media technicians
- Ensuring all customers are served politely, timely and with correct stock levels
- Warehouse duties including operating a warehouse management system
What you need to succeed:
- Category B driving license
- You are ideally computer literate and know how to work your way around systems (or a quick learner!)
- You may be someone with a Warehouse background who has dealt with systems rather than being paper based
- You must enjoy lone working – area managers will be visiting you once or twice a week for a coffee and a catch up for some social time!
