Warehouse Operatives - Cambuslang

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client in Cambuslang. This is a long-term temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

The Role

You will be working within a busy warehouse environment, primarily in chilled conditions (as low as 2°C). Full PPE will be provided, although candidates must have their own safety shoes.

Duties will include:

• Picking products using handheld scanners
• Picking into cages and baskets
• Loading picked orders onto delivery vehicles
• Working as part of a busy warehouse team
• Following all health & safety procedures

Shift Pattern

• 4 days out of 7 - Rotating 3-week shift pattern
• No Saturday working
• Working days can vary throughout the week
• Every 3 weeks, you will receive 5 consecutive days off, Friday to Tuesday.

Pay

• £13.83 per hour standard
• £20.75 per hour overtime
• Weekly pay

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Comfortable working in chilled conditions
• Own safety shoes
• Good reliability and attendance
• Able to work the required rotating shift pattern
