Warehouse Operative - Temp to Perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Contract: 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and friendly team based in Nelson. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term position, with the potential to move into a permanent role after a successful 12-week temporary period.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure goods are handled, stored and dispatched efficiently and safely.

Your duties may include:

• Loading and unloading deliveries

• Picking and packing orders

• Moving and organising stock within the warehouse

• Operating warehouse equipment safely

• General warehouse duties as required

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and keen to learn. Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial, although the right attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are equally important.

• FLT Counterbalance licence is preferred but not essential

• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous

• Good attention to detail

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to work well as part of a team

• Comfortable with a physical role
