The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Paddock Wood, who are looking for reliable Picking and Packing Assistants to join their growing team.

Key Details:

• Hours:
  • Evening - 12:00 - 22:00
  • Day - 08:00 - 18:00
• Rota: 5 days out of 7 (2 consecutive days off, which may fall during the week)
• Contract: Temp to Perm

Duties:

• Accurately picking customer orders
• Using scanning devices to track products
• Ensuring correct quantities and items are selected
• Packing orders safely and efficiently
• Preparing goods for dispatch
• Ensuring quality and accuracy of packed items

Additional Duties:

• Support workers by allowing them to shadow packing processes, helping them gain a fuller understanding of warehouse operations.
• Assess the pick rates of new starters to ensure productivity targets were met.
• Maintained daily communication with the recruitment agency, providing updates on staffing, attendance, and operational requirements.
• Tour candidates around the warehouse.
