Our Client based in Shefford is recruiting for Warehouse Operative. This is an on-going/temp to perm role and the site are looking for candidates who are willing to join their small friendly team and grow with the company. Candidates for this role should have their own transport or live locally due to location and be physically fit as the position requires heavy lifting up to 25kg and manual handling throughout the whole shift. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team on an on-going/temp to perm basis.

Warehouse operative - Working hours

• 08:00am - 17:30pm - Monday to Friday

Warehouse Operative - Job Responsibilities:

• Picking, packing and loading of goods, ready for dispatch
• Ensuring the smooth dispatch & accurate and timely loading of vehicles
• Report any issues
• Follow quality service standards & comply with company procedures & policies
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team, following health and safety protocol at all times

Job Requirements:

• Must have current, valid reach truck licence
• Proven working experience as a warehouse operative
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices & methods
• Good organisational & time management skills
• Manual Handling/Ability to lift heavy objects up to 25kg
• Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
• IT literate
• Attention to detail
