The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse based in Newport (NP20). This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for long-term employment with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Duties Will Include:

• General warehouse duties
• Operating a Reach Truck (valid licence required)
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse
• Using pallet wrapping machinery to prepare goods for dispatch
• Picking and packing customer orders
• Handling heavy goods and carrying out manual handling tasks
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid Reach Truck licence with previous experience
• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to handle heavy products safely
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
