Warehouse Operative

Location: Altham, Accrington
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

The Best Connection are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-known warehouse and manufacturing company based in Altham, Accrington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term work with progression in a growing manufacturing environment.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 16:00
• Friday: 08:30 - 13:30
• 30-minute unpaid break

Key Duties:

• Picking and packing orders
• General warehouse duties
• Operating machinery (CNC experience preferred)
• Working with steel and wood materials
• Assisting in the manufacture of Polytunnels
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• CNC machine experience advantageous
• FLT experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to work with steel and wood materials
• Good attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work at a fast pace
