We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Pickers to join our client’s team in Park Royal. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity with the potential for overtime during busy periods.
PAY: £12.21 p/h plus holiday pay.
Working hours start from 7 AM to 4 PM, and must be flexible to work any 5/7 days.
Responsibilities:
- Navigate through the warehouse aisles to locate the products listed on the order pick list.
- Follow any instructions (e.g., batch picking, prioritising high-value orders) while picking products.
- Ensure the correct quantity and condition of items are picked.
- After locating the product, scan it again to update the system that the item has been selected.
- Place picked items in appropriate boxes, bags, or containers.
- Use the scanner to ensure that the right labels and shipping information are applied.
- Keep work areas organized, ensuring that picking bins and shelves are neatly stocked and easy to access.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and handling of goods.
- Report any issues related to missing products, damaged goods, or system errors to the supervisor or warehouse manager.
- Review and understand the daily pick list, which includes customer orders or stock replenishments.
- Be adaptable and ready to assist in other warehouse duties as required to support warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Ability to lift and move items as needed.
- Comfortable with using a scanner.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Must be able to follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
