We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is ready to develop their skills and grow into a Deputy Warehouse Supervisor role.

Shift Pattern: 4 On, 4 Off (Including Weekend Work)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (12-Hour Shifts)

Pay Progression:

• Warehouse Operative: £13.00 per hour
• Trained Operator: £13.50 per hour
• Deputy Warehouse Supervisor: £14.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Start as a Picker & Packer, handling pharmaceutical products such as creams, cosmetics, and other health-related items with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Progress into a Trained Warehouse Operative, learning all aspects of pharmaceutical warehouse operations and processes.
• Assist in managing day-to-day warehouse duties, ensuring smooth operations, and effective stock control.
• Support warehouse team leaders in managing staff and tasks within the warehouse, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, as well as the proper handling and storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Take part in inventory management, quality control, and order processing.
• As you develop, take on more leadership responsibilities, eventually growing into the role of Deputy Warehouse Supervisor.

Additional Responsibilities as a Deputy Warehouse Supervisor:

• Assist with staff training and mentoring new team members as you progress.
• Ensure all products are picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with company standards.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Help monitor stock levels and assist with stocktaking.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and managers to maintain efficient workflow.

Requirements:

• Experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role, ideally in a similar industry (pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, or logistics).
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company, progressing from picker/packer to trained operator and eventually to deputy supervisor.
• Excellent communication skills, able to manage staff and liaise with teams effectively.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence and leadership potential, with the ability to take on more responsibilities over time.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and 12-hour shifts (8 AM to 8 PM).
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with physical warehouse tasks.
