The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative including forklift duties in Scunthorpe area

Permanent Days -10 hour shifts 

• Due to rapid expansion of our client we are currently looking for another team member. This position is working as a Yard/Warehouse operative and includes forklift duties. When deliveries are quiet you will be expected to assist the Yard operations with; cleaning, sweeping, stacking and maintenance. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse. 
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all items are correctly logged.
• Ensure products are stored in designated locations.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and health regulations.
• Assist with organizing warehouse space and ensuring products are stored properly.
• Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily operational targets.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator (minimum 1 years).
• Valid forklift operator certification, in house considered 
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 10KGS.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
