Stock Control / Inventory / MHE / Warehouse Operative

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our client's team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a varied role involving stock control, inventory management, materials handling and general warehouse duties.

The successful candidate will be organised, have good attention to detail and be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out stock control and inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.

• Receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries.

• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.

• Moving materials and stock safely around the warehouse.

• Loading and unloading deliveries as required.

• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.

• Reporting stock discrepancies, damaged goods and any issues to management.

• Following all health and safety procedures.

• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations.

• Experience using MHE, with relevant licences where required.

• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
