The Best Connection are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance licence to join the Goods In department at our highly prestigious client based in Sutton in Ashfield.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, well-organised, and friendly warehouse team supporting global distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unloading deliveries and booking stock into the Goods In department
• Operating a Counterbalance FLT (minimal use - approx. 1 hour per shift, on and off)
• Handling and moving stock, including heavy lifting
• Using handheld scanners / WMS systems to track stock movements
• Packing, labelling, and preparing goods for dispatch
• Supporting stock checks and maintaining warehouse organisation
• Following all Health & Safety procedures

What to Expect:

• Physically active role involving standing, walking, and regular heavy lifting
• Minimal FLT driving - primarily warehouse duties within Goods In
• Clean, modern working environment with a supportive team
• Full training provided

Essential Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance licence (ESSENTIAL)
  • Must be accredited or an in-date in-house licence
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and "can-do" attitude
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential

Working Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 16:30
• £13.90 per hour
• Weekly pay through The Best Connection
• Temp to Perm opportunity
