Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Bamber Bridge, PR5

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Job Type: Ongoing Temporary (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Breaks:

• Two 10-minute paid breaks
• One 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Role Overview

The Best Connection are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join a busy warehouse operation in Bamber Bridge. This is a hands-on role involving goods in/out, stock handling, and general warehouse duties. The position offers a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling goods in and goods out processes
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Performing stock checks and stock adjustments
• Using hand-held scanners to manage inventory
• Operating FLT Counterbalance (where required)
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
• Supporting general warehouse and manual labour tasks

Requirements

• Valid clean UK driving licence (Category B) - licence check will be carried out
• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (externally accredited - not in-house)
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Experience using hand scanners and stock systems (desirable)
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and reliability
