The Best Connection are looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join our client based in the Chesterfield area. The role has direct responsibility for supporting the Warehouse, Stock, transport and companies’ client base.

Role:

Office administrator, responsible for booking transport, allocating orders, communicating with the customer. Must be flexible in terms of start time and finish time. This can be a pretty busy role, so we need someone willing to get stuck in.

Must haves:

Competent using a PC, and MS office, mainly outlook and some excel experience. Good communications. Some experience in customer service

Preferable but not essential:

Any previous use of DLX (I know this is a long shot)

Job Description is:
The successful candidates will ensure through data processing that all administration is complete including reviewing stock data, data analysis, complete transactions as required, and reporting as applicable to the Office and Warehouse Managers. You will be responsible for other tasks such as: making up labels, liaising with warehouse colleagues, responding to clients' emails, keeping up with activity in a timely and accurate manner. You must also achieve departmental KPIs. The daily workload will be varied so you must be open to do additional work requests as and when needed. 

Hours of work 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  •  Managing allocated client’s
  •  Checking stock availability,  
  •  Data entry
  •  Excel spreadsheets. (Training given on in-house system)
  •  Chasing client’s orders
  •  Liaising with the Warehouse manager and administration teams
  •  Working on own initiative
  •  Filling in when office staff are on holiday.
  •  Excellent telephone communications and writing skills.
  •  Contacts experience
  •  Printing labels
  • Transport planning

Requirements

  • Warehouse administration experience.
  •  Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office applications including data bases
  •  Good knowledge of creating and integrating spreadsheet, ability of interpreting data
  •  Development and understanding of KPIs.
  •  Excellent customer service skills
  •  Experience of stock management and stock control (an advantage)
  • Must be able to work on your own initiative.
