Voice Order Picker - Day Shift

Location: B78
Shift: 09:00 - 17:30
Shift Pattern: Any 5 days from 7 - No Saturday working
Pay: Up to £20.94 per hour

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting Voice Order Pickers to join a distribution company based in B78.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work within a busy chilled warehouse environment, with competitive rates of pay, enhanced Sunday rates and regular overtime opportunities.

The Role

As a Voice Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting food and drink products and preparing customer orders for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking food and drink products using a voice-controlled picking system
• Accurately selecting stock and building pallets ready for dispatch
• Working towards productivity and accuracy targets
• Using pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment
• Maintaining high health and safety standards
• Working efficiently within a chilled warehouse environment
• Ensuring orders are picked accurately and on time

Pay Rates

Standard Hours

• £13.45 per hour for the first 12 weeks
• £13.95 per hour after 12 weeks

Sunday Hours

• £14.60 per hour for the first 12 weeks
• £15.10 per hour after 12 weeks

Overtime - After 42 Hours

• £16.81 per hour for the first 12 weeks
• £17.44 per hour after 12 weeks

Sunday Overtime

• £20.94 per hour

Working Hours

• 09:00 - 17:30
• Any 5 days from 7
• No Saturday working
• Enhanced Sunday rates
• Overtime available

Requirements

Previous warehouse or order picking experience is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided.

You will need:

• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work towards productivity and accuracy targets
• Ability to work in a chilled environment
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
