The Best Connection Walsall are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable and long-standing client in Wolverhampton who are looking to add an experienced HGV Technician to their team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a clear path to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of HGV vehicles

Diagnose faults and identify the most effective solutions

Ensure all work is completed in line with industry safety and quality standards

Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Work as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment

Requirements:

Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role is essential

Full UK driving licence (Class 1 HGV licence is advantageous but not essential)

Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent is preferred

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills and a professional approach to work
