Experienced Van Driver Required - Permanent Position

The Best Connection are recruiting for an experienced 3.5T Van Driver for a permanent position with one of our clients based in the Alfreton area.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 06:00 - 15:30

Working week: 45 hours

Break: 30 minutes unpaid

Contract: Straight to permanent

You'll be driving a 3.5T van, making deliveries to residential addresses, businesses and customer sites.

Day-to-day duties:

• Loading your van before starting deliveries
• Completing deliveries independently.
• Handling potentially heavy items
• Providing good customer service at delivery points
• Taking payment from customers where required
• Preparing/loading the van the evening before where possible

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' van driving experience
• Maximum 6 points on licence
• Strong commercial delivery experience
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Confident dealing directly with customers
