The Best Connection is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well‑established logistics clients based in Riddings, Derbyshire. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Delivery & Collection Driver to join their expanding team.

This role is customer-facing and represents the business on a daily basis, so a professional attitude, excellent driving standards, and a customer‑focused approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out deliveries and collections in a professional and timely manner
• Completing between 20-30 deliveries per day
• Driving approximately 150-180 miles per day
• Using a handheld scanning device accurately
• Ensuring full compliance with driver and workplace regulations

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate:

• A flexible approach to work
• Strong attention to detail
• A clear understanding of compliance and safety requirements
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience using scanning devices

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Typical start times from 7am

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
• Enjoy driving and working independently
• A trial period will apply

Job Details:

• Pay: £13.00 per hour
• Temporary to Permanent position for the right candidate following a successful trial period.
