Job: CAT B Events Driver

Location: Horley

Pay: £17.00

The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking CAT B Drivers for ADHOC & Weekend Work for our client in the Horley area.  You’ll be assisting with the delivery of events equipment for a number of different occasions from private hire events, corporate and in some cases weddings. 

The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category B Licence be customer focused and have a clean licence for insurance purposes.

Full training will be provided. 

Hours of Work:

Monday to Sunday: 06:00 starts being the earliest

Rate of Pay:£17.00

Responsibilities of the CAT B Events Driver:

• Operate a CAT B Luton Van from Horley to various locations the UK. Assisting with lumping, bumping and setting up events equipment. 
• Help to load & unload the vehicle.
• Heavy lifting is required as you’ll be setting up various equipment with training provided. 
• Customer Facing role, expected to deliver excellent service and represent the brand.
• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels; safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely interact with the events co-ordinators and others daily to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Class B Events Driver:

• Category B Licence.
• Clean license with no points for insurance purposes.

Due to the location and start times own transport is required.
