Van Driver / Labourer - Hyde

Temp to Perm Opportunity

Our client based in Hyde is looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Van Driver / Labourer on a temporary to permanent basis.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday: 07:45am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 07:45am - 10:45am

Pay Rate

• £12.80 per hour
• Increases to £14.00 per hour upon successful completion of the probationary period and permanent transfer.

The Role

This is a hands-on position combining van driving and general labouring duties. Approximately 20% of the role involves local deliveries, with the majority of the work carried out within the warehouse and production environment.

Daily duties include:

• Local van deliveries
• Manual loading and unloading
• Machine operating and machine minding
• Shrink wrapping products
• Using hand tools
• General housekeeping duties
• Supporting warehouse and production operations as required

This is a physically demanding role where you will be on your feet throughout the shift.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous warehouse, production, or shop floor experience
• Strong and stable recent work history
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
• Looking for a long-term permanent opportunity
• Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative when required
