Our client based in Stonehouse urgently requires a Van Driver to deliver to clients across the South West and Wales. No experience is required as full training is provided. On-going position, this role may become permanent following a successful trial period.
The Role:
- Driving a pre-loaded van of food, drinks and confectionery to clients’ shops
- Unloading orders, checking accuracy with the shop manager and gaining sign-offs
- This role will entail some lifting and candidates should be aware that access to some premises will involve climbing stairs/steps.
- Approximately 20 drops per day
Working Hours & Rate of Pay:
- Monday to Saturday (Sunday + 1 rolling day off per week)
- 04.00 start
- £11.50 per hour
- Average of 42 hours per week, overtime available
Driver Requirements:
- You must be over 21 years old and have held a Driver’s Licence for a minimum of 2 years.
- For insurance purposes you should have no more than 6 penalty points.
