VAN MULTI DROP COURIER DRIVER (PAYE EMPLOYMENT NOT SELF EMPLOYED)

The Best Connection Ltd are an Employment Business recruiting on behalf of our client.

Our client is a global leader in logistics and freight transport and have a depot based in Howden which services the local East and North Yorkshire and Humberside regions.

We have an opportunity to recruit van drivers to start mid December to January and continuing as a van courier multi drop delivery driver on a temporary to permanent basis with our client. This will require working as an agency temp for 8 weeks and then joining our client as a full time, permanent employee for the successful candidates.

Applicants must be able to meet the following criteria :

• Have previous courier multi drop or similar fast paced van delivery experience.
• Be capable of delivering 80 to 100 parcels daily.
• Hold a full UK licence with no more than 6 minor points.
• Provide checkable references to cover the last 5 years including work history, references and address history.
• Be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Candidates must be prepared to have a DBS check carried out prior to commencing work as part of the induction process. (We pay for this).
• Candidates must be competent in safely driving both short and long wheel base vans.
• Candidates must be physically fit and be involved in loading and unloading their van.

PAY RATES :

1ST 45 HOURS OF THE WEEK             £ 13.42 PER HOUR

AFTER 45 HOURS OF                             £ 20.13 PER HOUR
